Lets Get Looking!
That's right, you get to help show foxes on the map. There is no way I could do it without you, I cannot go places since I have school and all. It is up to all of you to get this going. It will be loads of fun, you will get to go outside in the beautiful outdoors and look for foxes, "How fun can that be," you ask? well I have done it many times, I love being outside. I get to see many animals and beautiful things. So if you are interested please keep reading.
First off you will need a few things, don't worry not much.
Once you have these things all you need to do is look for a fox, now here is where it gets serious. ONLY WILD FOXES no captive ones. That means no zoos, wildlife rehabilitation centers etc. All parks are fine though.
I need a good picture of it if possible to verify the fox and species, also I need the most accurate position possible, don't walk close to a fox because that is dangerous just get the GPS location where you can see the fox from. Be sure you save it as a .GPX file. (GPS units do this automatically)
After you have gotten those things just send them both to me, if I can make out the photo well enough I will post it here.
If you do not have those things or understand those instructions, please read this.
When you find a fox be sure to write down the exact location such as an address.
Once you can access a computer go to Google Maps <--Link
Right click on the exact location and click "What's Here?"
The coordinates will be in the top left near the search bar.
Email us the coordinates along with how close you think the fox was to that location along with a photo.
If you cannot help search for foxes, you can still help by donating.
